Login cookie
__Host-vowilo_session is a first-party authentication cookie on the HTTPS service. It holds a random session identifier, expires after 30 days and is removed when you sign out. It is HTTP-only, Secure and SameSite=Lax.
It is required for the account service you request. Blocking it prevents sign-in. Local development uses vowilo_session instead; an older local session cookie may be read during migration.
Local browser storage
language remembers English or Swedish; theme remembers light or dark mode; weddingId remembers the selected wedding. They are stored in localStorage on your device, remain until replaced or cleared, and are not advertising identifiers.
The public website remembers language and theme only after you explicitly choose them. It does not set a login cookie just because you visit.
Your controls
Change language and theme using the website or app controls. Sign out to remove the login cookie. Your browser settings can delete site cookies and local storage; this resets preferences and may sign you out.
There is no optional tracking to accept or reject in this version, so we do not show a tracking-consent banner. If optional analytics or advertising is introduced, this page and the consent controls must be updated before it is enabled.
